At Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, resilience is not just about rebuilding; it is about reclaiming life’s most precious moments.

Recently, the first wedding on the kibbutz since October 7 brought joy, music and dancing back to the central lawn. Despite the ongoing security challenges facing communities across Israel, Ayala Minker, who grew up on the kibbutz, and her partner, Rafael refused to give up on their dream.

On the lawn beside the dining hall, where kibbutz weddings were once celebrated, family, friends and community members gathered beneath the chuppah, creating a moment of hope and renewal for the entire community.
