Funds raised by the JNF Gold Patrons are directed to specific projects in Israel, currently supporting the Atidim program established to give talented young women from the periphery the financial, educational, emotional, and social support to attend Israel’s finest universities

Lunch with Julian Leeser MP
Thursday 6 March 2025 – JNF Gold Patrons recently hosted a lunch with Julian Leeser MP. Julian engaged an audience of over 120 guests as he spoke passionately about combatting antisemitism, particularly in universities and beyond.
Cocktails and Movie Night “Seven Blessings”
Thursday 7 November 2024 – JNF Gold Patrons enjoyed cocktails and canapés, before listening to guest speakers from the UAE, Amjad Taha & Eitan Neishlos. This was followed by a viewing of the JIFF film Seven Blessings.
Lunch with Maia Ifrah
Thursday 1 August 2024 – JNF Gold Patrons had the pleasure of hearing from Maia Ifrah, the International Partnership Director of the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council. The guests were left inspired by an insightful talk addressing the current challenges facing the region’s communities.
Lunch with Michael Gawenda
Wednesday 13 March 2024 – JNF Gold Patrons came together for its first event of 2024. Centring on solidarity and connection to Israel, there were over 140 guests in attendance. The lunch featured speakers including Michael Gawenda, author of My Life as a Jew and Doron Lazarus, the newly appointed JNF CEO.

Wednesday 6 December 2023 – In celebration of Chanukah, Gold Patron Members enjoyed delicious doughnuts, cocktails and canapés, before seeing an advanced-screening of film “Maestro” .
Lunch with Paul Griffiths
Tuesday 1 August 2023 – JNF Gold Patrons were invited to luncheon at Malvern Valley Golf Course. Paul Griffiths, former Israel ambassador to Australia delivered the keynote speech.
Lunch with Professor Gil Troy
Wednesday 29 March 2023 – JNF Gold Patrons were invited to lunch at Malvern Valley Golf Course. Professor Gil Troy was the keynote speaker and spoke about ‘Israel at 75: achievements and challenges.’
Cocktails with the Michael Shafar
Wednesday 14 December 2022 – JNF Gold Patrons were invited to cocktails with guest comedian, Michael Shafar. The event was held at the Vicinity Towers. We are grateful to Gandel Foundation for their support of this event.
Luncheon with the His Excellency, Ambassador Amir Maimon
Wednesday 10 August 2022 – JNF Gold Patrons were invited to a Luncheon at the Malvern Valley Golf Course, to hear from His Excellency, Amir Maimon, who shared insights as the Israeli Ambassador to Australia. We also honoured our Blue Box Collector of the Year for 2021, Ian Winton. We also announced the winners of the My Israel Passport Competition and made some children very happy!
Luncheon with Alex Ryvchin
Tuesday 22nd March 2022 – JNF Gold Patrons were invited to a Luncheon at the Malvern Valley Golf Course, to hear from Alex Ryvchin the Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry and the author of Zionism – The Concise History (2019) and The Anti-Israel Agenda – Inside the Political War on the Jewish State (2017). Alex spoke about Pride in Zionism and How to stand up for our national movement.
Chanukah at the Movies – Yerusalem and Rooftop Cocktails
Sunday 5 December 2021 – JNF Gold Patrons were invited to watch the Exclusive Screening of the Movie Yerusalem, followed by cocktails on the Rooftop at the Classic Cinema in Elsternwick. Donuts were shared in celebration of Chanukah! Beautiful Evening for all.
