A promise today for Israel’s tomorrow
The continued well-being of the Jewish people and the land of Israel is vital to us all.
One of the most significant ways that you can show your support for Israel is to leave a gift in your Will to JNF Australia. Your love of Israel will be reflected for generations to come.
JNF Australia performs work in Israel covering areas such as community development, education and training, ecology and afforestation, research and development, water management and social welfare.
“We wanted to make a personal, lasting commitment to Israel and the Jewish people by leaving a bequest in our Wills.” – Andrew and Bella Strauss
Our promise to you
JNF takes pride in ensuring that your memory is honoured both in Australia and Israel. Individuals who leave a gift in their Will are remembered in the following ways:
How to leave a gift in your Will
A Residual Sum – You can leave all or a percentage of your Estate to JNF.
A Percentage of Your Estate – You can leave a nominated portion or fixed percentage of your Estate to JNF.
A Bequest – You can leave a specific sum of money or an item of value to JNF, such as property, shares, bonds, managed funds, jewellery or works of art. You can also leave the proceeds of a life insurance policy or superannuation benefit to JNF.
Adding a bequest need not mean redoing your entire Will. You can simply add a codicil as an annexure to your existing Will.
Wording for your Will
The gift in your Will should be made out to:
Jewish National Fund of Australia
ABN: 32 108 796 878
Suite 1402, Westfield Tower 2, 101 Grafton Street, Bondi Junction NSW 2022
We have prepared some suggested wording that may be helpful for your solicitor when they are preparing your Will.
