Since October 7, 2023, communities along Israel’s southern and northern borders have been facing significant challenges due to ongoing attacks. Fires caused by rockets, mortars, and arson pose immediate threats to the environment, natural resources and the lives of vulnerable residents.
This Green Sunday, we invite you to make a difference by supporting Operation Fire Support (OFS). This unique program provides for a collaboration between Australian volunteer firefighters and Israel’s fire and forestry services. This very special team have decades of experience fighting fires in Australia, and what’s more, a deep passion for protecting the people of Israel.
Our goal is to support 10 communities, who will receive the critical training and fire-fighting equipment they need to defend their homes and land.
