Kibbutz Ruhama

Kibbutz Ruhama

Julian Miller [NSW] and his family recently joined JNF on a deeply moving day tour of the Gaza Envelope, experiencing firsthand both the devastation of October 7 and the extraordinary strength of the communities determined to rebuild.

Their journey began at Kibbutz Ruhama, where they visited a playground established by JNF Australia for children from Kibbutz Kfar Aza in their temporary home. Built in memory of Nadav Goldstein and his daughter Yam, who were murdered on October 7, the playground stands as a powerful symbol of hope emerging from heartbreak. As one of the project’s donors, Julian had the privilege of meeting Orit, a member of Kfar Aza, who shared her personal story and later guided the family through her beloved kibbutz.
