Since October 7, 2023, communities along Israel’s southern and northern borders have been facing significant challenges due to ongoing attacks.
Fires caused by rockets, mortars, and arson pose immediate threats to the environment, natural resources and the lives of vulnerable residents.
This Green Sunday, we invite you to make a difference by supporting Operation Fire Support (OFS). This unique program provides for a collaboration between Australian volunteer firefighters and Israel’s fire and forestry services. With decades of firefighting experience, this dedicated team is committed to enhancing the capabilities of local communities to protect their homes and the environment.
We aim to empower ten communities by providing critical fire training and essential firefighting equipment. This collaboration will significantly improve their ability to combat fires effectively, ensuring they can safeguard their homes and save lives.
