David Loven is the President of the Monash Jewish Students’ Society, where he leads advocacy, cultural programming, and community initiatives that strengthen Jewish student life on campus. In this role, he has worked with university leadership, student bodies, and the broader community to ensure Jewish voices are represented and students feel safe and supported.

Beyond Monash, David has been an active changemaker in the wider Jewish community. While still in high school, he co-authored and presented a groundbreaking report on the experiences of Jewish students in non-Jewish schools, highlighting issues of antisemitism and belonging. This work informed government discussions and helped strengthen Holocaust education and cultural awareness across Victoria. He was also a leader at UJEB.

David continues to engage with policymakers, community organisations, and media to advocate for Jewish identity, safety, and inclusion. His leadership is defined by a commitment to amplifying Jewish voices, building inclusive spaces, and empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders.
