Rabbi Boruch Moshe Broh, fondly known as “Rabbi Bochi,”  serves as the Rabbi of Chabad Campus. Since October 7, when Jewish students on university campuses around the world began to feel an unprecedented rise in hostility, antisemitism, and intimidation, his leadership has become more crucial than ever. At a time of fear and uncertainty, he has stood as a beacon of strength and light, ensuring that students are never alone and always supported.

Through Chabad Campus, Rabbi Bochi has long dedicated himself to the wellbeing of Jewish university students. He has built an inclusive and vibrant community, offering programs both on and off campus that celebrate Jewish life, learning, and identity. Whether through his weekly bagel lunches on campus, Shabbat dinners, holiday events, one-on-one guidance, or engaging educational initiatives, he has created a space where students feel welcomed, supported, and proud of who they are. In the months since October 7, his presence has been nothing short of transformative. When encampments filled campuses with anti-Israel slogans and posters declaring hate, Rabbi Bochi stood strong, tall, and proud. He led students with courage, showing them that Jewish identity is not something to hide, but something to embrace with joy and pride. His unwavering message—that we are a people who love life and will not be silenced—has empowered students to be loud and proud Jews even in the most challenging circumstances.
