We are delighted to welcome Rabbi David Freedman to our next morning tea. Rabbi Freedman has devoted nearly 50 years to the rabbinate, serving communities in both London and Sydney with distinction, wisdom, and compassion.
In addition to his pastoral work at Central Synagogue, Rabbi Freedman has a strong academic background, having lectured in Medieval Jewish History at the University of Sydney and in Jewish Law at UNSW. He also leads ongoing Shiurim that explore Jewish history and tradition in a meaningful and engaging way.
At this event, Rabbi Freedman will present a thought-provoking talk titled “Menachem Begin & Winston Churchill & The World Today”—reflecting on the legacy, leadership, and enduring relevance of these two remarkable statesmen, and what their voices might say to us in the context of today’s global challenges.
