This nostalgic walk down memory lane is a unique exploration of the diverse and vibrant history of Jewish music, showcasing its evolution and cultural significance across centuries.

About our entertainers:

  • Len Mahemoff OAM discovered he had a bass singing voice at age 40. He has done several radio recitals was a member of the Sydney Philharmonica. He is currently a soloist in the Central Synagogue choir and a member of the Jewish Choral Society.

  • Shirley Politzer OAM is well known in the Sydney Jewish Community as a pianist and choir and band conductor/director. She has received awards for “Services to the Community” and “Excellent Service to Scouting”.

  • Leo Novikov is a popular violinist and has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre and the Sydney Opera House.
