This year our Blue Box Rosh Hashanah campaign was successfully supported by our community and thanks to your generous donations we are proud to announce that the first ImagineBox will be launched this month at Hagivah School in Ofakim.

This innovative educational tool is designed to support the emotional and psychological well-being of children, offering them a space to explore and heal.

Hagivah School, which serves 400 students between the ages of 6-12 years and employs 30 dedicated teachers, are excited to integrate ImagineBox into its curriculum. 

“We are thrilled to provide the ImagineBox to the students at Hagivah School and provide the students with the emotional and cognitive skills that they need at these critical primary school years.

“Thanks to JNF Australia for their generous donations, we can now provide education and therapeutic education to our students who have faced emotional challenges in the past year,” says Mrs. Rachel Ohana, Head of the Education Department in the city of Ofakim. 

ImagineBox is an immersive educational space equipped with creative and therapeutic tools designed to aid in the healing process. Through a combination of mindfulness practices and interactive exercises, it creates a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore their experiences, express their emotions, and build resilience. By combining creativity with therapeutic support, ImagineBox empowers children to confront their feelings and develop a deeper understanding of themselves in a way that promotes healing and growth.

ImagineBox provides a flexible, immersive learning space that combines technology and creative tools to enrich core subjects like science, history, and language. Lessons are designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, allowing teachers to bring subjects to life in ways that resonate with students’ unique learning styles. Additionally, this space will be used for sessions focused on building resilience and emotional intelligence, offering a supportive environment for social and emotional learning.

ImagineBox has a significant impact on students’ emotional well-being. The immersive nature of the space provides a safe and nurturing environment that supports trauma recovery and resilience building. Students facing emotional challenges or trauma can participate in therapeutic programs that use visualisation, storytelling, and sensory engagement to process emotions and develop coping skills. This dual-purpose approach ensures that students not only excel academically but also build the emotional resilience needed to face life’s challenges with confidence.

This initiative represents a significant step forward in supporting children’s emotional well-being in Israel, and we are proud to see it come to life in Ofakim, thanks to the generous support of our community.
