Natan has been an inspiring and indefatigable volunteer and leader in the Melbourne Jewish community. He has fulfilled numerous leadership roles within Beni Akiva, as a much admired Madrich for 3 years (of year 3, year 10 and year 11), as well as Treasurer of Bnei Akiva Melbourne and Rosh Tarbut.
He has led numerous educational groups to Israel via Bnei Akiva and Taglit, including Limmud our Shnat program and currently serves as the dynamic Youth Director and Program Coordinator of Caulfield Shule.

His approach to Jewish communal volunteering and leadership is to always say ‘yes’ to any request, and his selfless efforts and creative talents, together with his trademark humility, have positively impacted the Zionist and Jewish identities of countless numbers of Melbourne’s Jewish youth.

He continues to support Bnei Akiva through the generous donation of his time and design skills that have helped to produce publications and public relation designs. Just this year he planned organised and implemented the running of our winter camp kitchen which catered for over 250 people. It was the most successful kitchen camp experience Bnei ever had.

I am proud to recommend that he be honoured with this award.
