Livia is a passionate and dedicated leader for Diller Teen Fellows Melbourne. The Diller Teen Fellows program was established to help Jewish students create stronger Jewish identities, to empower leaders and promote Tikkun Olam and as a volunteer Livia truly upholds all of these. From participating in the program in 2022 as a year 10 student, she has chosen to volunteer and lead this year’s cohort of students in 2024. From facilitating programs to welcoming Israeli students and a current seminar trip to Spain with the global group, Livia has shown great leadership throughout. Her commitment to leading the Diller teens with her personal experience of participating in the program has helped create an engaging and meaningful experience for all participants. As a current year 12 student Livia is delicately balancing her schooling and facilitation of the program. Her passion and dedication to lead the future of Jewish students is inspiring and will have a lasting impact on the community. It is now more important than ever for these programs to continue and in these difficult times Livia has continued to lead and educate the teen fellows on what it means to hold strong Jewish identity and connection to Israel. She is able to educate and inspire the fellows to form meaningful and personal connections to their own developing identity. Outside of the program she has also participated and presented The King David School in the building bridges program, engaging in difficult and important conversations. Livia is a leader of this generation who has deep commitment to leading Jewish students.
