Heath worked under Vic Alhadeff at the NSW JBD as the Public Affairs Officer and has demonstrated significant dedication and commitment to fostering positive change within the Jewish community and beyond.
Heath’s achievements include his recent selection as a Krauthammer Fellow, a prestigious program that recognizes Jewish thinkers from various disciplines.
In 2022, Heath was the recipient of the Combat Antisemitism Movement’s Innovation Lab award, a testament to his innovative approach in combating online antisemitism in Chinese-speaking communities.
As a member of the 2021-2022 cohort of the Australian Jewish Funders’ LaunchPad Leadership program, Heath was equipped with valuable skills to improve his work with communal organisations.
Heath’s contributions to debate centred on Israel-China strategic affairs has featured in various publications, and he remains an active member of the ECAJ’s Jewish Advocacy and Leadership Corps.
Heath’s past service as an elected board member of the Canberra Jewish community and as a Deputy at the NSW JBD demonstrates his long-standing dedication to Jewish communal organisations.
Looking forward, Heath remains passionate about deepening Jewish thinking in security and strategic affairs, combating antisemitism in Chinese language-speaking communities, and using his role as a Senior Research Analyst at the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) to raise awareness of emerging challenges.
