JNForever NSW: Chanukah & Now – A time for miracles

Join us for our upcoming morning tea where we can come together during these challenging times. Let’s enjoy Chanukah together and the special presence of our guest, Rabbi Chaim Koncepolski who will be talking, singing and playing for us. Born in Sydney, Rabbi Koncepolski moved to Israel with his family at the age of 8. After a brief return to Sydney around the age of 12, he completed his education at a Yeshiva in Israel, where his two older brothers were studying.
At 20, he traveled to Brazil to serve as a shaliach at a Yeshiva, completing his Rabbinic ordination during his second year there. Subsequently, he contributed to strengthening smaller Jewish communities in Brazil. With a deep passion for music, Rabbi Koncepolski served as a cantor for various synagogues worldwide during high holidays, including locations in Brazil, Florida, Russia, and Central Synagogue Sydney. Proficient in Hebrew, Yiddish, Portuguese, and English, his diverse linguistic skills enhance his outreach.
Today, Rabbi Chaim Koncepolski, along with his wife Dina, guides the Cremorne Synagogue, drawing support and membership from a diverse community of Jews on the lower North Shore.
