Welcome to the incredible, interactive JNF Beats Challenge.

Congratulations on taking your first step towards fame in the recycled instrument category.

If you think Australian Idol and The X Factor are big, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

We’re not only looking for musical talent. We want to see the most creative and ingenious use of household items as the instruments for your band.

Sing, dance, drum and shake your way to stardom.

The more creative your instruments, the better your chance of winning!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Enter in 7 easy steps!

Step 1:  Choose your band members. Extra points awarded for getting your parents involved!

Step 2:  Grab a cheese grater, a hairbrush, a plastic bag, and a frying pan. Now you’ve got yourself an orchestra. (Real instruments are not welcome in this challenge!)

Step 3:  Play along to this version of ‘Eretz Zavat Chalav U’dvash’

Step 4:  Set up your recording studio (Hint: You just need a phone. Remember to set it up in landscape orientation).

Step 5:  Go crazy, have fun and remember to press record!

Step 6:  Upload your video to https://streamable.com and copy the unique link. Complete the form below and include the Streamable link when prompted.

Step 7:  Sit on shpilkes until the results are announced.

Q: Can I have ‘Eretz zavat chalav u’dvash‘ playing in the background?
A: Yes you can.

Q: How long can my video be?
A: Up to 2 minutes.

Q: Can I introduce myself and my band?
A: We’d be sad if you didn’t.

Q: Can I send you a TikTok link?
A: Unfortunately not, but you’re guaranteed to get more followers if you share your JNF Beats Challenge clip.

Q: When is the competition open?
A: It’s open now! Entries close at 11.59pm on Sunday 22 August 2021.

Q: What’s the maximum file size I can upload?
A: 250MB

Q: I’ve uploaded my video to streamable.com, now what do I do?
A: Streamable will generate a unique link to your video. Copy and paste it in the entry form below when prompted.

Q: When will I find out if I’ve won a prize?
A: You’ll have to sit tight until Friday, 3 September 2021.
